People living above the water have sunk wells, and adults are drinking an average of two liters of the water each day and their children are consuming one liter.

Chemists, physicists and engineers have learned how to produce chemicals in solid particle form having at least one, and sometimes two or three dimensions, at the so-called “nano” scale. A nanometer is one-billionth of one meter, and this is the scale that describes the size of some individual cells, viruses, cell walls, and individual components of cells. Many of these “nanoengineered” particles take on properties remarkably different from those of the very same chemical when it is produced, as normal, having much larger dimensions.
